“Depths is a song about sinking into a feeling or emotion that might at first seem uncomfortable or foreign, but then learning to use that feeling to grow stronger or more focused. I found myself shutting away uncomfortable feelings, and started to explore why that might be… Once I learnt to start accepting that those emotions or irrational thoughts were just something I could control and understand, I started to ask myself why I was having such a negative reaction to those emotions. This has been a process that I have been thinking about a lot and wanted to try to write a song about the experience of letting those uncomfortable emotions wash over you until they disappear into your consciousness.”

Descending down
Forget about the surface
To another world
Another universe

You can't hide it
You can't fight it

Sink into the Depths
Sink into the Depths

Inside my head
I hear your voice call
In your eyes
I see it all

You can't hide it
You can't fight it

Sink into the Depths
Sink into the Depths

The Depths
The Depths

"I started ORCHA as a passion project and a test of my skills as a Violinist.Having the limitation of using only Violin forces me to get a lot more creative with how I go about filling out the entire harmonic structure of the song. I take inspiration from the surreal experiences of life, the joy and pain we feel every day in the modern world and I try to convey a sense of fragility in my music." ... more
